well speaking of our bot... it was manually controlled..n no microcontroller switching was allowed... so mechanical joystick sniped out of toy bulldozers were used..
i used a special ,simple bt stupid mechanism for maintaining the levels of the thrusters on it's back..everything used were either odds n ends or scraps usually visible at any of the techie's junkbox....the photos can make it a lill more clear..
for the floating purpose...styrofoam bars were used...
